I Am Not Dead
Just got back from a five-day trip to England, during which time I was without internet access. They haven’t even got electricity over there, you know.
(Actually I was staying on a boat and the nearest cafe with wifi demanded a credit card before letting me use their radiation).
The best things about WordPress (apart from the fact that it easily facilitates communication among a huge number of people) is that it shows you what search strings people used to find your blog. As you can imagine, some of these are truly hilarious. Here are my favourites so far:
steven king clown predictions (?)
exotic desserts with funny names
japan sex
stephenie meyer new moon bullshit
Whoever used that last one sounds like a man/woman after my own heart. I’m also a bit curious about what kind of ‘clown predictions’ Stephen King has been making. Possibly he knows something we don’t?
More book reviews to come in the near future!

It’s just weird, I know! Yesterday I got ‘can I force myself to hallucinate?’ Uh, who WANTS to force themselves to hallucinate? Ah, well. England’s a great place really.

There used to be this thing called ‘The American Dream’ (for some reason) that teenagers here did. It basically involved intentionally cutting off the blood supply to your head (by squeezing certain points on your neck) until you passed out and/or had a hallucination, some of which could be quite vivid, supposedly. I never tried it so it could well have been psychsemantic, but still…
And yes, England is great! I live in Ireland, so it’s a short hop over.

Ooh. Sounds… fun? Nah…
This morning someone found my blog through ’sheep goddess’. :D

Did you have anything remotely related to sheep or their goddesses on your blog? :/ That’s the real question here!

I think I was searching Twilight reviews in the vain hope that I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t gobsmacked or smitten with the series. It warms my heart to know yes, there are people out there who see its flaws.
